Background: One of a client from Middleeast provided a PO which just has some simple paramters reverse demulsifier. 
Application of the reverse demulsifier: Basd on these simple paramters,our company has developed and applied a new type of reverse demulsifier suitable for these paramters.. It can effectively destroy the stability of the emulsion, enabling rapid oil-water separation. Meanwhile, the use of the new reverse demulsifier also helps improve the quality of oily wastewater, providing a better produced water basis for subsequent processing.


Typical Application Cases 

1. Case of Oilfield Produced Water Treatment 

Application Scenario: High salinity oilfield produced water containing residual agents from polymer flooding. The raw water has an oil content of 200mg/L. The electric dehydrator trips frequently, and the oil content in the reinjected sewage exceeds the standard. 

Solution: Add the reverse demulsifier JF-2 (dosage: 100-150ppm) and use a dynamic mixer to strengthen emulsification. 

Post treatment Indicators: The oil content in the water phase is ≤ 15mg/L, the water content in the oil phase is ≤ 0.3%, the demulsification and stratification time is 18min, and the reinjected water quality meets the standard. 

Customer Feedback: The operation stability of the electric dehydrator has increased by 90%. The annual reagent cost savings is approximately 1.2 million yuan. The emulsification problem of high - salinity sewage has been completely solved. 


2. Case of Refinery Oily Wastewater Treatment 

Application Scenario: Cold rolling emulsion wastewater containing surfactants and mineral oil. The raw water has a COD of 28000mg/L and an oil content of 1100mg/L. It still exceeds the standard after treatment with conventional coagulants. 

Solution: Add the reverse demulsifier JF-D01 (dosage: 300ppm) + PAC (100ppm) + PAM (10ppm). Post treatment Indicators: COD is reduced to 35mg/L, the oil content is ≤ 4mg/L, the turbidity is ≤ 5NTU, meeting the first - level standard of the "Integrated Wastewater Discharge Standard". Customer Feedback: The annual cost of wastewater transportation is saved by 5 million yuan. The load of the biochemical system is reduced by 70%. The treated water quality can be reused in the cleaning process.  


3.Case of Machining Emulsion Treatment 

Application Scenario: Cutting fluid wastewater containing animal and vegetable oils and anionic surfactants. The raw water has a COD of 22000ppm, an oil content of 180ppm, and the treatment effect of conventional air flotation is poor. 

Solution: Add the high efficiency cationic flocculant JF-D02 (dosage: 200ppm) and combine with two stage air flotation. 

Post treatment Indicators: COD is reduced to 4300ppm (removal rate of 80.45%), the oil content is ≤ 15ppm, and SS is ≤ 45ppm, meeting the requirements for subsequent biochemical treatment. Customer Feedback: The demulsification and stratification time is shortened to 25min. The amount of sludge is reduced by 40%, and the reagent cost is reduced by 30%. 

4. Case of Coking Plant Tar Wastewater Treatment (Application of JF-01 Reverse Demulsifier) Application Scenario: Phenol containing sewage from the delayed coking unit (volatile phenol 240mg/L, oil content 600-700ppm). Severe emulsification causes malfunctions in the downstream stripping unit. 

Solution: Add the JF-01 reverse demulsifier (dosage: 400ppm) and combine with two stage oil water separation. 

Post treatment Indicators: The oil content is ≤ 150ppm, the demulsification and stratification time is 30min, and ammonia nitrogen and COD stably meet the standard. 

Customer Feedback: The operation failure rate of the stripping unit is reduced by 85%. 300 tons of fresh water is saved every day, and the wastewater recycling is realized. 


5. Case of Ship Oily Wastewater Treatment (A Shipping Company) 

Application Scenario: Engine room oily sewage containing heavy oil and diesel. The raw water has an oil content of 800ppm and high emulsification stability. 

Solution: Add the reverse demulsifier JF-2207 (dosage: 80ppm) and combine with inclined plate sedimentation. 

Post treatment Indicators: The oil content is ≤ 10ppm, the demulsification and stratification time is 35min, meeting the "Ship Water Pollutant Discharge Control Standard". 

Customer Feedback: The reagent has strong compatibility. There is no need to modify the existing equipment. The treated water can be directly discharged, avoiding the risk of port fines.
