Personal Protection during the Use of Polyacrylamide(Powder CPAM) :
When operating, wear rubber gloves, masks, and goggles to prevent the powder CPAM from coming into contact with the skin. Although cationic polyacrylamide (assuming it refers to a type of polyacrylamide) is inherently low-toxicity, the powder CPAM may irritate the mucous membranes.
If the skin is accidentally exposed, immediately rinse with clean water.
If it gets into the eyes, rinse thoroughly with a large amount of clean water and seek medical attention.
It is strictly prohibited to let the agent come into contact with food and drinking water.
Wash hands thoroughly after the operation.
Dissolution and Usage Taboos:
Avoid dissolving it with strong acids, strong alkalis, or high temperature water.
The recommended water temperature is 20-30℃. When the temperature exceeds 60℃, the molecular chain will break, reducing the molecular weight.
The dissolved solution should be used up within 24 hours.
Prolonged storage will lead to a decrease in viscosity and weakened effect due to degradation.
Do not mix and dissolve it with water containing a high concentration of metal ions such as iron and copper. Metal ions may trigger the degradation of cationic polyacrylamide.
